The campaign invites you to stay in Álava this summer despite the opening of the borders

From this Monday it is possible to move around Bizkaia and Gipuzkoa after almost three months of restricted mobility, first to the neighborhood, then to the municipality and then to Álava. This summer will be different for many, but it seems that traveling around Spain and Europe will be possible. Even so, the Provincial and City Council invite Alava to stay in Álava.

‘Now that you can go out, stay’ is the motto of the institutional campaign that calls for “enjoy, buy, and discover Álava”. The campaign started with an enigmatic Qué-da-te that gave rise to doubts.

“Sometimes we tend to look far when we consider a destination to enjoy our vacations and leisure time, and we do not realize that we have at our disposal a range of original and attractive tourist experiences. I invite everyone to discover the wonderful corners and unique experiences that the different regions of Álava offer, ”said Tourism Deputy Cristina González.

Along the same lines, Maider Etxebarria, Councilor for Tourism, recalls that small businesses and bars and restaurants reopen their doors to the public these days after almost three months of closing to “protect everyone’s health.” He maintains that “now is the time to recognize their commitment and effort with facts, that is, consuming in the stores in our neighborhood and the hospitality establishments of Vitoria-Gasteiz and Álava”.
